WHAT IS 360 DEGREE MUSIC?

Here at 360 Degree Music we have plenty of news, but it’s never about us. The bands, artists, managers and crazed creatives that we work alongside create the news, and we at 360 give them the platform to take their news to you.

We do give this talented group of folk some help: We give them guidance, (in the form of nagging); some tools (a website, shop, etc.); digital distribution, (presenting and marketing to 600 stores or so worldwide), and a relentless push – even when they don’t want to be pushed! We don’t peddle inconsequential crap and we only work with artists we believe in, therefore we are not a MySpace who only care about exploitation of musicians. We have a passion for great music.

Please go to each of the bands sites. They are listed down the right hand side of the page, and sometimes featured on the home page. This is where the action is. Each artist site has a sign up where you can get some free music, a music player that usually has exclusive (high quality) music, gig listing, blog links, Facebook info etc. and other stuff that changes regularly.

You should have a listen and sign up as this is the only way you’ll get first hand news about fan offers, special gigs and releases and more free stuff. Don’t worry, you won’t get 5 emails a week.

Oh and you can always opt into 360 and get a round up of all our artists quarterly.

There is one more bit of news. Well it’s not really news, it’s more ‘About Us’ disguised as news. But it could be called news if you’ve just discovered us.

We are a label, (but not in the old world sense) and we work in partnership with artists and managers, take the momentum that they create and the vision that they have, and turn this into usable strategy to enable them to move forward and achieve their goals. It’s not an employee/employer relationship like most labels have with their artists. It’s a co-operative.

2010 will see the release of more great records from us. There will be more free tracks. More gigs. More fun. Remember fun?

Take a step into our world.
